There are moments in life when you begin to wonder why you do the things you do.
A reaction you didn't expect.
A familiar pattern appearing again.
A relationship that feels strangely similar to the last one.
A moment when you hear yourself say, "Why did I do that?"
Why some situations affect you more deeply than others. Why you keep finding yourself in familiar patterns, even when you promised yourself things would be different.
You might not have the words for it yet. You might simply have a feeling that there has to be more to understand about yourself.
Until one day, something makes you curious. And perhaps that curiosity begins with a question.
Have you ever asked yourself that question?
Perhaps after reacting in a way you didn't understand. After finding yourself in another relationship that felt strangely familiar. After saying yes when you wanted to say no. After putting everyone else's needs before your own. After repeating something you promised yourself you would never do again.
You know better. You understand what you are doing. And yet somehow, you find yourself doing it anyway.
Perhaps you've wondered why you keep attracting the same kind of people. Why you don't feel like yourself anymore. Why you always put everyone else first. Why you can see the pattern and still seem unable to change it.
And perhaps, somewhere along the way, you have begun to wonder if there is simply something wrong with you.
What if there is a reason you are the way you are? What if the patterns, behaviours and responses you have developed throughout your life make far more sense than you realise?
What if you could begin to understand where they came from? And what if understanding yourself differently could completely change the way you see yourself?
I call that younger version of you Mini Me.
Wellness With Rachel
A live, ongoing group programme for women who are ready to become curious about the patterns that have shaped their lives — and discover more of who they really are.
The younger version of you
Mini Me is the younger version of you who was learning about the world, relationships, safety, belonging and herself. She was constantly gathering information — from the things that happened to her, the things people said, the way people responded to her.
Using the limited information available to her at the time, she began to draw conclusions. About who she was. What she needed to do to be loved. Whether she mattered, whether she was safe, whether she belonged. What she could expect from other people. What was available to her, and what she believed she deserved.
Some of those conclusions are still influencing the way you respond to life today. Mini Me doesn't simply disappear when you grow up. Much of what she learned remains beneath conscious awareness, quietly influencing how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. No fanfare. No announcement. You may not even know it is happening — but the conclusions you carry about yourself travel with you.
The list of possible conclusions is almost endless. These beliefs are often described as negative beliefs, and they are very real. Yet they did not appear from nowhere — they developed through your experiences and the meaning you gave to them.
When we talk about trauma, we are not necessarily talking about one terrible thing that happened. Trauma is any negative experience that affects us and the conclusions we draw about ourselves as a result. Two children can experience the same thing and come away with completely different conclusions. The experience matters, and so does the meaning the child gives it.
Mini Me was trying to understand life with the information she had available. She did not have the perspective, knowledge or experience that you have now. She simply made sense of what happened as best she could — and those conclusions stay with us long after the original experience has passed.
They influence the relationships we choose, the things we tolerate, the opportunities we believe are available to us and the way we see ourselves. They influence what we expect, what we accept, what we ask for and what we believe we deserve. Everything is connected.
The way you feel about yourself affects your relationships. It affects the choices you make, the boundaries you set, the opportunities you pursue, the risks you are willing to take and the way you look after yourself. The conclusions you carry about yourself do not stay neatly contained in one area of your life. They travel with you.
The life we are living often reflects things about ourselves that we have never consciously recognised. Our relationships are a mirror to our internal world — they show us what we believe, what we expect and what we are prepared to accept.
When we begin to look with curiosity rather than judgement, we can start discovering the connections. And that is what coming home to yourself really means. It is about becoming curious about who you learned to be, and discovering more of who you really are.
There are parts of you that have been hidden beneath old roles, expectations, beliefs and survival patterns. There are qualities, desires and possibilities you lost touch with while you were busy becoming who you believed you needed to be. And there is more of you waiting to be discovered.
This is where your journey begins.
A live, ongoing group programme where we explore the questions beneath the questions. Every month, we place a spotlight on a different area of life — relationships, money, health, emotional wellbeing, self-worth, purpose, and the relationship you have with yourself.
Each month gives us a foundation and a place to begin. Every week, we explore a different aspect of that theme, following the connections and questions that emerge along the way. A month exploring relationships, for example, might take us into the patterns you notice, the roles you play and what you expect from other people — what you believe you are available for, the conclusions you carry about love and belonging, and what your relationships reveal about your internal world.
Wherever we begin, the journey always comes back to you.
We meet live each week to explore, question, reflect and discover together. You are part of a live experience — there is space for questions, conversation, different perspectives and the unexpected discoveries that often emerge when we become curious.
Every woman brings her own experiences and understanding to the group. Sometimes another woman's question helps you see something in yourself. Sometimes you hear somebody describe an experience and suddenly find language for something you have never quite been able to explain.
If life gets in the way and you cannot join us live, every session is recorded. You can watch the replay when it suits you, and return to previous conversations whenever you want to revisit a topic or go deeper. Over time, the replay library grows alongside your own discoveries — a conversation you listen to today may mean something completely different to you six months from now.
A supportive group programme to help you understand your patterns, beliefs and protective behaviours and reconnect with who you are underneath everything you learned you had to be.
For women who are tired of asking:
"Why am I like this?"
You may be repeating the same patterns, putting everyone else first, struggling with boundaries or simply feeling like you've lost yourself somewhere along the way.
That's okay.
You don't need to have all the answers before you begin. You may simply know that something isn't working or that you don't feel like yourself anymore.
We'll begin with curiosity and explore things together.
No. This is an educational and transformational group programme and doesn't replace therapy or medical support.
We explore patterns, beliefs and the ways our experiences have shaped how we see ourselves and move through the world.
Mini Me is the younger version of you who was learning how the world worked.
She made conclusions about love, safety, belonging and who she needed to be using the information she had at the time.
Those conclusions made sense then. But you may still be living by them now.
Understanding a pattern and changing a pattern are two different things.
This work helps you recognise what's happening, understand what may be driving it and begin creating the possibility of a different response.
No.
You can share as much or as little as feels right for you. And if you feel more comfortable having your camera off, that's okay too.
You are invited, never forced.
You'll always be encouraged to move at your own pace.
If you feel you would benefit from more individual support, we can discuss whether a 1:1 session with me would be helpful.
You don't have to navigate everything alone.
Life happens!
Sessions are recorded, so you can catch up in your own time if you can't make it live.
If you're ready to understand yourself with more curiosity and less judgement…
If you're tired of repeating the same patterns…
And if part of you is wondering where you went…
This may be your invitation.
The only thing you need is to be curious enough to begin. You begin exactly where you are — the door is open.
